Scope and Our Commitment
This Privacy Policy explains how Ambi Knit Pvt. Limited, trading under the brand name “Kidley” (“Kidley”, “we”, “us” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal data when you visit or shop at https://www.kidley.com, create an account, contact us, submit a review or otherwise interact with our online services.
When you use our Website, we collect and retain information that you choose to provide and certain information generated through your interaction with the Website. We use this information to operate a safe, efficient and personalised shopping experience, provide relevant features, and make ordering and customer support easier. We seek to collect only the information reasonably necessary for these purposes.
Information You Provide
Depending on how you use the Website, you may provide your name, mobile number, email address, billing and delivery address, account details, preferred sizes, wishlist, order instructions and other profile information.
When you place an order, we collect the product selected, quantity, price, discount, order history, delivery details, invoice information, payment status and return or exchange history. When you contact us, we may retain your emails, WhatsApp messages, support requests, photographs, videos and other information you voluntarily submit.
If you post a product review or upload content, we collect the content and information associated with your submission. Please do not provide sensitive personal information or another person’s personal data unless it is necessary and you are authorised to do so.
Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Website, our systems and service providers may automatically receive technical and usage information such as IP address, device type, browser, operating system, approximate location derived from IP, referring page, pages viewed, searches, clicks, session duration, cart activity, errors and security events.
This information helps us operate the Website, remember preferences, understand how customers use our services, improve performance, prevent misuse and measure marketing effectiveness.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies for essential functions such as login, cart, checkout, security and preference storage. We may also use analytics and advertising technologies to understand Website usage and measure campaigns.
Where consent is required, non-essential analytics or advertising technologies will operate only after you make a choice through the cookie banner. You can change browser settings or available cookie preferences, but blocking essential cookies may affect Website functionality.
How We Use Personal Data
We use personal data to register and manage accounts; process and fulfil orders; verify payments; create invoices; arrange shipment and delivery; provide tracking; process cancellations, exchanges, returns, credits and refunds; answer questions; resolve complaints; and maintain customer-service records.
We also use information to secure the Website, detect and prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, maintain business and tax records, improve product selection and Website performance, understand customer interests, personalise content, and send transactional communications.
With your consent, or where otherwise permitted by applicable law, we may send information about products, offers, launches and events by email, SMS or WhatsApp. You can opt out of promotional messages without affecting essential order-related communications.
Consent and Permitted Processing
Where processing is based on consent, we seek consent through a clear affirmative action and use the data for the stated purpose. You may withdraw consent using the method provided at the point of collection or by contacting us. Withdrawal will not affect processing already completed and may prevent us from providing a service that requires the relevant data.
We may also process personal data for legitimate uses or legal obligations permitted under applicable law, such as completing an order voluntarily placed by you, preventing fraud, responding to an emergency, complying with tax and accounting requirements, enforcing legal claims or responding to a lawful authority.
Payments
Online payment transactions may be processed by the payment or checkout provider displayed at checkout. Payment providers receive the information needed to authorise the transaction and operate under their own privacy and security terms.
Kidley does not intentionally collect or store your complete card number, CVV, UPI PIN, internet-banking password or similar authentication credentials. We may receive and retain transaction identifiers, payment status, payment-method category and refund status for order reconciliation and support.
When We Share Personal Data
We share personal data only where reasonably necessary to operate our business or comply with law. Recipients may include payment and checkout providers; courier and logistics partners; hosting, cloud, security and Website-support providers; messaging and customer-support providers; analytics and advertising providers; accountants, auditors, insurers and professional advisers.
For example, a courier may receive your name, phone number, address, order reference and delivery instructions. A payment provider receives transaction information needed to process a payment or refund. Service providers are expected to process data for agreed purposes and apply appropriate safeguards.
We may disclose information where required by law, court order or a lawful government request, or where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect customers, enforce our rights or investigate a security incident. Kidley does not sell personal data for money.
Advertising and Analytics
The Website may use analytics and advertising services, which may include services provided by Google, Meta or similar providers when enabled. These services may process cookie identifiers, device information, Website activity and campaign information to measure performance, limit repeated advertisements and understand whether an advertisement led to a visit or purchase.
You may manage non-essential tracking through the cookie banner and relevant browser or advertising settings. The availability of these controls may depend on the technology used on the Website.
Marketing Choices
You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in the message and may request that we stop promotional SMS or WhatsApp messages by replying with the opt-out instruction provided or contacting info@kidley.in. We may still send non-promotional communications necessary for orders, account security, policy changes or customer-support requests.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security and dispute-resolution requirements. Retention periods vary by record type; order and invoice records may be retained for the period required under applicable tax and commercial laws.
When data is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely isolate it, subject to backup cycles and legal holds. Where applicable law or rules prescribe a minimum retention period for processing records or logs, we will follow that requirement.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, such as HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, password hashing where passwords are used, security monitoring, backups and restricted administrative access. Payment credentials are handled through the payment provider’s secured environment.
No digital system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should protect your OTPs and account access, use a trusted device, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised activity. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will take response and notification steps required by applicable law.

Kidley sells clothing for children, but Website accounts and purchases are intended to be created or completed by adults. We do not knowingly seek to create customer accounts for children under 18 or knowingly process their personal data without the consent or other safeguards required by applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal data to us without appropriate authorisation, contact us so that we can review and take suitable action. We do not intend to conduct behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed specifically at children.
